You will need to register for on line access to your medication, appointments and records through Patient Access which is fully linked to your practice based clinical record. The website to register can be found at www.patient.emisaccess.co.uk or you could simply click on the Online Appointments tab and it will take you directly to the website.
The registration process is fairly straightforward and you will need to arrange to attend the practice in person to collect your passwords bringing with you two forms of identification.
This is so that we can ensure only the right people can access your medical information.
For more information you can call the surgery on the usual telephone number 0151 652 1955 and ask to speak to Tracy, who will be able to resolve any problems. We are not currently offering online access for children.
This change has been brought about because the Department of Health wishes to increase the number of people using online access to its fullest potential.
